Garbage Collection Information:
- Garbage shall be bagged before being placed in a cart and the accumulated weight of all materials in the cart shall not exceed 200 pounds
- Loose garbage will not be picked up as it is a disease and injury risk to collection personnel
- Overflowing bags or boxes that will not fit into a cart will be picked up (overflowing bags may be placed in other plastic containers)
- An additional cart may be provided by the City of Aberdeen for an extra monthly charge
- The City of Aberdeen will dump other containers, but the City will not be responsible for damages caused by mechanical dumping of the containers
- Garbage will be collected once per week
